Density tester for cemented carbide and density properties of cemented carbide

:2020-12-03 16:42:52:

Cemented carbide density tester can be used for density measurement of powder metallurgy and alloy products. It adopts Archimede principle and has the characteristics of adjustable measurement accuracy, stable performance, simple operation and durability. With standard RS-232 computer interface, you can easily connect to printer or computer.

The mass per unit volume of cemented carbide generally includes the volume of voids in the material, which is usually expressed by G / cm3. The theoretical density of cemented carbide analyzed by the manufacturer of cemented carbide density tester can be calculated according to the following formula:

d0=100/x/da+y/db+z/dc;

Among them, Da, DB and DC represent the theoretical density of component A, component B and component C respectively, and X, y and Z represent the mass fraction of component A, B and C respectively. The calculation formula of porosity in the alloy is as follows:

P=(1-d/d0)×100%;

Where p is the porosity in the alloy,% (volume fraction); D is the actual density of the alloy and d0 is the theoretical density of the alloy.

The density measurement method of cemented carbide stipulates: when weighing the sample within 10 g, the sensitivity of the balance should be 0.1 mg, and that of the sample above 10 g should be 0.001% of the weight; the size of the container should be appropriate. If the sample larger than 10 cm3 is put into the liquid, the rise of the liquid level is not more than 2.5 mm, and the liquid body is distilled water or deionized degassed water.

Density is an important product quality index of cemented carbide. Under the condition of certain composition, the density reflects the microstructure of the alloy. When the porosity is large or there is free carbon in the alloy, the density is low. When η phase appears in the alloy, the density is higher. The main factors affecting the porosity and density of the alloy are insufficient wet grinding time, low green density, incomplete degassing, insufficient sintering temperature and time, and impurity mixing.

Cemented carbide density tester for alloy density measurement accuracy is high, is your best choice!
